About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Source, develop, and manage relationships with carriers and shippers.
- Negotiate rates with carriers to maximize profit margins while meeting customer needs.
- Coordinate shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Track loads and provide proactive updates to clients and carriers.
- Resolve issues such as delays, damages, or capacity constraints quickly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, transactions, and communications.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow the book of business.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a **Freight Broker**preferred.
- Strong knowledge of transportation industry regulations and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with TMS (Transportation Management Systems), load boards, and MS Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business a plus).
