**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in menu planning and development to create appealing and nutritious meal options.
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.
- Utilize knife skills and other cooking techniques to prepare ingredients efficiently.
- Participate in catering events, ensuring high standards of food presentation and service.
- Provide support in the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation and serving as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking within a culinary environment.
- Familiarity with fine dining standards and practices is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience in restaurant or kitchen settings, showcasing versatility in the food industry.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation are essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
