The Scrub Nurse is responsible for providing sterile instruments and supplies during surgical procedures. They work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members to ensure the operating room environment is safe, equipment functions properly, and operative procedures are conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Preparation**:

- Prepare the operating room for surgery by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and in place.
- Assemble and check all surgical instruments and equipment prior to the procedure.
- **During Surgery**:

- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile environment by following strict aseptic techniques.
- Monitor and account for all surgical instruments and sponges during and after the procedure.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and provide requested instruments and supplies promptly.
- **Post-Operative**:

- Assist in the care and transfer of patients post-surgery.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and the operating room after procedures.
- Document surgical procedures and ensure all counts of instruments and supplies are correct.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
- Additional certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Scrub Nurse or in a similar role within an operating room setting.
- Familiarity with surgical instruments and procedures.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Capacity to lift and move patients and heavy equipment as needed.
- Manual dexterity to handle surgical instruments.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
