**Position Title**: FNB Service Captain
**Department**: Food and Beverage (FNB)
**Reports To**: Restaurant Manager/Assistant Manager
**Location**: [Vadodara]
**Employment Type**: Full-Time/Part-Time

**Overview**:
The FNB Service Captain plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences by leading the service team, maintaining high standards of customer service, and overseeing daily operations in the food and beverage area. This position requires a proactive leader with excellent interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Customer Service**:

- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a high level of hospitality.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience by monitoring service quality and anticipating guest needs.

**2. Team Leadership**:

- Supervise, train, and motivate service staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to inform staff of daily specials, guest expectations, and service requirements.
- Schedule and assign duties to the service team, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient service.

**3. Operational Management**:

- Oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring they meet the establishment’s standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

**4. Financial Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing the financial performance of the restaurant, including controlling costs and maximizing revenue.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring all financial procedures are followed.

**5. Communication and Coordination**:

- Act as a liaison between the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure a seamless operation.
- Address and resolve any service or operational issues promptly and efficiently.

**6. Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify areas for improvement in service delivery and operational processes.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other restaurant management software.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Work Environment**:

- Fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on customer service.
- Interaction with a diverse team and clientele.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
