Job summary

Amazon Prime Video is looking for a Head - Sports Marketing to lead the marketing charter for all live sports offerings, both current and future, by Prime Video, based out of Mumbai. As we continue to pursue opportunities to be the default entertainment destination for all Indians, we are adding exciting new businesses lines and content genres, incl. live sports streaming for our customers.

Key job responsibilities

We are seeking an innovative and experienced manager, to define Prime Video’s marketing strategy on sports and set up & program manage the marketing efforts on live events. This includes the following broad areas.
- Help develop a deep understanding of the sports fan, across the Prime Video team, through research and data-driven analysis.
- Create communication and go-to-market strategies around our portfolio of live sports events, aimed at delivering critical goals of customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
- Build Prime Video as a destination for live sports.
- Work across cross functional teams, including the local India business team, Customer Insights, Acquisition & Engagement, Social media, Brand & Service marketing, Communication, Product & CX, Business Intelligence, Production, Ad Sales and Distribution teams.
- Work closely with the Prime Video Marketing team on key projects, over and above Sports.
- Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail and ability to multitask
