We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Academic Counselor to join our team at Ramaiah Institute of Management. As an Academic Counselor, you will play a crucial role in guiding prospective and current students through their academic journey, providing valuable insights, and ensuring they make informed decisions about their education.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with prospective students to understand their academic and career goals.
- Provide information about the institute's programs, admission requirements, and career prospects.
- Address queries related to admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and documentation.
- Stay updated on the institute's academic programs, curriculum, and any updates or changes.
- Effectively communicate program details to students, highlighting the unique features and benefits.
- Offer career counselling and guidance to students, helping them align their academic choices with their career aspirations.
- Provide information on industry trends and job market requirements.
- Work closely with existing students to address academic concerns, provide support, and facilitate a positive learning experience.
- Implement strategies to enhance student engagement and satisfaction
- Collaborate with academic departments and faculty to stay informed about program updates and requirements.
- Foster a collaborative environment to support students' academic success.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in academic counselling or advising, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of educational programs, admission processes, and career pathways.
- Empathetic and patient attitude towards students' concerns and queries.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with student information systems and CRM tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
