Service Advisor

Job Title: Service Advisor - Commercial Vehicles(Eicher)

Location: Haribalakrishna Automobiles-Therekalputhoor-Nagercoil

Job Summary:
The Service Advisor will act as the main point of contact between customers and the service department. Responsible for understanding customer concerns, providing accurate job estimates, coordinating with the workshop team, and ensuring timely delivery of serviced commercial vehicles. The role demands excellent communication skills, technical knowledge, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and understand their service requirements.

Prepare job cards, estimate service costs, and obtain customer approval.

Coordinate with service technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repair.

Update customers on job status, repair progress, and additional requirements.

Ensure timely completion and delivery of vehicles.

Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure satisfaction.

Maintain proper records of services, parts used, and billing.

Promote value-added services, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and service packages.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / Degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.

1-3 years of experience as Service Advisor (preferably in commercial vehicles).

Good technical knowledge of commercial vehicles.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Customer-oriented approach with ability to handle pressure.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, DMS/ERP software).
