**About the role**

As a Production Optimization specialist, you will bring extensive industry experience to our Data Science and Customer Success teams, helping them and other parts of Cognite support our customers in their data-driven production optimization journey. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding and supporting delivery projects with a focus on enhancing production performance across various industries.

The Production Optimization SME will work closely with Project Managers, Global Customer Success (GCS), Account Executives (AE), TechSales, and the Product organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the value of customer delivery projects and providing the right technical recommendations for both short
- and long-term success. This role requires interacting with customers, project delivery teams, and internal stakeholders to effectively communicate technical and strategic aspects, ensuring quick time to value for our customers in alignment with Cognite's strategy.

**To be successful in this position, we expect you to leverage your P&O domain expertise combined with Industrial DataOps technology (that will become an expert in) to**:

- Be a trusted advisor for our customers, prospects and delivery teams, with the ability to drive and guide, define and develop the right solutions/use cases aligned with the Production and Optimization domain and customer needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout project delivery and beyond
- Leverage in-depth technical SME knowledge to quickly identify customer's pain points and the value based on the interactions with the customer to guide short and long-term value outtakes

Ensure a good feedback cycle to:

- Translate the customer voice into the project scope and its execution
- Ensure customer feedback on Cognite’s product and deliverables
- Demonstrate how Cognite Data Fusion and Cognite Applications can be used to solve the critical challenges that lead to realizable value at scale now and in the future and increased user adoption and Cognite technology stickiness
