**Overview**

**Duties**
In this position, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized service plans.
- Providing addiction counseling and support to individuals seeking recovery.
- Utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and progress.
- Implementing crisis management strategies to address immediate client needs effectively.
- Collaborating with social work professionals and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
- Facilitating workshops and training sessions focused on workforce development skills.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with Section 8 regulations.

**Experience**
- A background in behavioral health, social work, or a related field.
- Experience in addiction counseling or working with individuals facing substance use disorders.
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques and crisis management practices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage clients and collaborate with team members.
