**Position**: Continuous Mesh Belt Furnace Operator/Foreman

- **Overview**_

The Continuous Mesh Belt Furnace Operator/Foreman is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Continuous Mesh Belt Furnace used in the heat treatment of fasteners. This role involves overseeing the production process, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team of operators.

Key Responsibilities

**1. Furnace Operation**:

- Operate and monitor continuous mesh belt furnaces used for heat treating fasteners.
- Adjust furnace settings to achieve the required temperature profiles and process parameters.
- Ensure the continuous and efficient flow of materials through the furnace.

**2. Quality Control**:

- Inspect and test fasteners to ensure they meet specified mechanical and metallurgical properties.
- Maintain accurate records of furnace operation, temperatures, and product quality.
- Identify and address any deviations from quality standards.

**3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine maintenance on furnaces to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.

**4. Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Train team members on safety procedures and proper equipment use.

- **Education and Experience**:_
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operating continuous mesh belt furnaces, preferably in fastener manufacturing.
- **Technical Skills**_:_
- Strong understanding of heat treatment processes and furnace operation.
- Proficiency in using control systems and instrumentation related to furnace operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

**Working Conditions**
- The role involves working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to high temperatures and industrial noise.
- Shift work may be required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The position demands strict adherence to safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
