Design or conduct applied biodiesel or biofuels research projects on topics, such as transport, thermodynamics, mixing, transesterification ,filtration, distillation, fermentation, extraction, and separation.
- Lab equipment handling such as Hot plate, heating mental, hot air oven, centrifuge machine ,muffle furnace.
- knowledge about biodiesel production from different fatty sources such as used cooking oil.
- knowledge about acid value ,free fatty acid analysis, soap content analysis,
- Density, kinematic viscosity, flash point, Sulphur content, water content, total glycerol, cfpp.
- Analyze data from biofuels studies, such as fluid dynamics, water treatments, or solvent extraction and recovery processes.
- Prepare, or oversee the preparation of, experimental plans for biofuels research or development. Performing bioprocessing operations, including preparation of fermentation media, setting up seed flasks and bioreactors, downstream processing, and process monitoring activities.Performing a range of biochemical, chemical, and microbiological analyses.Maintaining the working areas in good condition according to the established sanitation protocols. Maintaining and cleaning the operations area and equipment.Performing microbiology tasks under sterile conditions.Following SOPs.Assisting your colleagues with ongoing projects in any way you can.Being efficient and productive, and following instructions as per established or new SOPs.Identify and help with solving operations problemsReceiving training in industrial biotechnology procedures
