**Job Title**: Warehouse Supervisor - Food and Beverage Industry

**Job Summary**:
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of food and beverage products while maintaining strict compliance with safety, quality, and sanitation standards. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**: Oversee stock levels and ensure accurate, up-to-date inventory records. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to prevent discrepancies.
- **Receiving and Shipping**: Supervise incoming shipments, verify accuracy, and ensure proper storage. Coordinate outbound shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain high standards of product handling and storage to meet food safety and quality requirements.
- **Staff Supervision**: Train, guide, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations. Schedule shifts and manage labor to meet demand.
- **Safety Compliance**: Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for staff and comply with health regulations for food and beverage storage.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Ensure warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is regularly inspected and in good working condition.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain detailed records of shipments, receipts, and inventory for internal use and compliance purposes.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and quality regulations.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
- Leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
- Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (certification preferred).

- Attention to detail for quality assurance and accurate record-keeping.
- Problem-solving skills to handle operational challenges swiftly.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain team morale and a positive work environment.

**Working Conditions**:
This role requires flexibility with shifts and occasional overtime based on operational needs. The position involves working in a fast-paced, sometimes temperature-controlled environment to handle perishable items.
