**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop creative and functional furniture designs based on client specifications, trends, and market demands.
- Create detailed sketches, drawings, and prototypes of furniture pieces.
- Research and select materials, finishes, and hardware that align with design concepts and ensure durability.
- Source and test materials to meet design and quality standards.
- Prepare detailed design specifications, including dimensions, materials, and construction methods.
- Create technical drawings and CAD models for manufacturing.
- Develop and oversee the creation of prototypes to test design feasibility, ergonomics, and aesthetics.
- Modify designs based on prototype feedback and testing results.
- Manage design projects from concept through production, ensuring they stay within budget and timeline.
- Collaborate with manufacturers, artisans, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and quality.
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and present design proposals.
- Incorporate client feedback into design revisions and finalize designs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies.
- Analyze market trends to ensure designs are innovative and competitive.
- Oversee the production process to ensure that furniture pieces are made to high-quality standards.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during production.
- Maintain accurate records of design processes, materials used, and production details.
- Prepare reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in furniture design with a strong portfolio.
- **Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Vray or Lumion, Photoshop, Able to make BOQ as per design.).**:

- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics.
- Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in furniture design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)
