Position : Revit Designer

Location : Pune, India

Primary Purpose of the Job:
Revit Specialists use their expert knowledge of the Autodesk Revit software to create detailed 3D models and drawings for architectural projects. You will liaise with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure design accuracy, compliance, and feasibility. Ability to work with a team, use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.

Key Accountabilities:

- Create and manage digital 3D models using Autodesk Revit software
- Interpret and implement architectural and engineering plans in the Revit environment
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other design team members to incorporate their designs into the Revit model
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and consistency
- Generate different types of drawings from Revit models, such as floor plans, sections, and elevations
- Produce renderings and visualizations of the project for presentations and marketing materials
- Develop and maintain Revit templates and families to streamline design processes
- Continually update skills and knowledge of software upgrades and improvements
- Resolve design and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Follow Quality procedures and processes.
- Ensure drawing co-ordination with all other disciplines internal and external to STANTEC.
- Maintain drawing files and records throughout the duration of contracts.
- Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor/management

Person Specifications:

- Relevant ITI/ diploma/BE in Civil engineering.
- Recently passed engineering exam or Should have Maximum experience of 3 years, in reinforced concrete and steelwork detailing in water retaining structures or buildings or oil and gas industries projects.
- Ability to effectively operate - Hands-on experience with Revit-Architecture, AutoCAD is must.
- MicroStation/ Open Building is a plus.
- Understanding of the principles of Architectural drawing conception and development
- Understanding of the company’s drawing and design development procedures.
- Should have knowledge of understanding 3D modelling.
- Data / Document management system experience
- ProjectWise, BIM360
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the general drawing requirements of a construction team
- Ability to communicate technical proposals clearly and to understand direction by others.
- Flexible attitude to accepting different work assignments and pro-active attitude to execution / delivery
