Key Responsibilities of a Restaurant Captain:

- **Customer Service**:

- Welcoming guests, explaining menu items, and making recommendations.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing complaints or requests.
- Monitoring guest satisfaction and collecting feedback.
- **Staff Management**:

- Organizing duty rosters, training staff, and coaching junior team members.
- Monitoring and ensuring smooth F&B service operations.
- **Kitchen Coordination**:

- Communicating guest orders, allergies, and dietary needs to the kitchen.
- Coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate meal preparation.
- **Inventory and Cost Control**:

- Maintaining inventory, ensuring cleanliness, and managing costs within the F&B service area.
- Conducting monthly inventory checks.
- **Other Responsibilities**:

- Following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Implementing new ideas to increase sales.
- Ensuring the restaurant maintains cleanliness and organization.
- Handling shift closings, including restocking, tallying cash, and processing payments.
