About the Role
As a Chief Risk Officer, you are responsible for ensuring the financial and reputation integrity of the ANZ Group of businesses through the effective treatment and mitigation of risks (Credit, Market, Operational, Technology, Liquidity and Strategic). Champion a strong ‘risk culture’ amongst colleagues and peers. Be the guardian of the balance sheet, reputation and strategy within the India franchise, accountable for the overall development and leadership of the Risk function and play a key role in:
Formulating, communicating and managing the Risk budget.
Support execution of franchise and business operating plans.
Maintain portfolio credit quality within established tolerances, avoiding unexpected credit (and non-lending) losses.
Provide active management and implementation of Non-Financial Risk framework of the Bank
Work in collaboration and consultation with key stakeholders from across different business functions to implement risk governance structure and infrastructure.
Ensure timely resolution of key risks to effectively mitigate the financial and reputational risks to the business.
Owner of in-country risk management, credit policies, control frameworks.
Oversight on country Risk Management Committee to exercise supervisory oversight of key risk issues affecting the businesses.
Completion and execution of an annual action plan encompassing all facets of Risk including mitigation and reporting of related matters.
