**Job Title**: Accounts Assistant
**Department**: Accounting/Finance
**Reports To**: Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager

**Job Overview**:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Data Entry and Record Maintenance**:

- Enter financial data accurately into the accounting system.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, invoices, and receipts.
- Update accounts payable and receivable information regularly.
- **Accounts Payable/Receivable Support**:

- Process invoices, prepare payments, and ensure timely bill processing.
- Assist in managing accounts receivable by sending invoices to clients and tracking payments.
- Handle vendor and client inquiries related to payments and outstanding balances.
- **Bank Reconciliation**:

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and internal financial records.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies.
- **Assist in Month-End and Year-End Close**:

- Support the preparation of financial reports and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documents for closing processes as required.
- **General Administrative Support**:

- Organize and file financial documents for easy access and retrieval.
- Assist in the preparation of documents for audits and tax filings.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed by the accounting team.
- **Expense and Budget Tracking**:

- Assist in tracking company expenses and ensuring they align with budget allocations.
- Support the preparation of expense reports and identify areas for cost savings.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing such a degree).
- **Experience**: Entry-level role; prior internship or experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) is a plus.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and team interactions.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month

Schedule:
