**Role Overview**

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Scientist to drive the development of next-generation computational models in a cutting-edge diagnostic environment. As a key member of our R&D team, you will leverage expansive datasets from various biological sources (including, but not limited to, high-throughput sequencing, proteomics, and metabolomics) to build robust, state-of-the-art AI solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible in cancer detection and human longevity.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Model Development & Innovation**
- Design, implement, and optimize advanced machine learning models—particularly those capable of handling extremely large and complex datasets.
- Investigate cutting-edge neural network architectures, ensuring the right balance of performance, scalability, and interpretability.
- **Data Management & Analysis**
- Oversee data ingestion, cleansing, and integration for diverse sets of biological data.
- Build scalable pipelines to preprocess, normalize, and store large volumes of data for efficient model training and inference.
- **High-Performance Computing & Scalability**
- Collaborate with DevOps/Infrastructure teams to utilize high-performance computing (HPC) environments or cloud-based platforms for distributed training.
- Innovate on solutions that enable rapid experimentation and iterative model improvement at scale.
- **Algorithmic Research & Exploration**
- Translate complex ideas into actionable, production-ready solutions that enhance diagnostic accuracy and speed.
- **Collaboration & Leadership**
- Work closely with computational biologists, data engineers, and domain experts to interpret and validate model predictions.
- Mentor junior researchers, data scientists, and interns on ML best practices and cutting-edge techniques.
- Communicate project updates and results to stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear business and clinical implications.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education & Experience**
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational Biology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Less experience with significant demonstrable skill will also be considered.
- **Technical Skills**
- Deep expertise in at least one major deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and proficiency in Python or similar languages.
- Strong background in designing and training complex neural networks, potentially including attention-based or other contemporary architectures.
- Experience working with distributed computing platforms (e.g., Spark, Ray) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with best practices for large-scale model development (e.g., GPU acceleration, parallelization strategies, mixed-precision training).
- **Analytical & Domain Knowledge**
- Solid foundation in mathematics and statistics, with an emphasis on optimizing, evaluating, and validating advanced models.
- Understanding of the broader life sciences/biotech context, particularly how machine learning can drive innovation in diagnostics.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- **Soft Skills**
- Innovative mindset with a passion for pushing technical boundaries and delivering real-world solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, balancing multiple priorities.

Pay: ₹2,611,977.00 - ₹7,835,665.00 per year
