**Job Title: Manual Tester**

**Experience: 1.5 - 3.5 Years**

**Key Skills Required**

Testing Types: Experience in Smoke Testing, Integration Testing, and Ad-hoc Testing.

Test Case Creation: Proficiency in writing comprehensive test cases that cover different testing scenarios.

Bug Tracking: Ability to log bugs effectively, document detailed bug reports, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Basic Tool Knowledge: Familiarity with JMeter for performance testing and Postman for API testing.

Work Knowledge: Experience working in Agile and other development models, understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

**Responsibilities**

Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and create test cases accordingly.

Conduct smoke tests to ensure stability of builds.

Perform integration and ad-hoc testing as required to verify feature functionality and catch edge cases.

Log bugs accurately with steps to reproduce, severity, and relevant information, and follow up with developers for fixes.

Use tools like JMeter and Postman for basic testing of performance and API functionality.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications (optional but beneficial).

**Soft Skills**

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills to discuss issues and test results with team members.
