**About the Role**:***:Cogniter Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented **Manual Tester / QA Engineer** with 2-5 years of experience to join our growing QA team. You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing and executing test cases, and ensuring high-quality, bug-free deliverables. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to drive project success.

**Key Responsibilities**:***:

- Review and analyze **project requirement documents** for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with **Project Managers and Developers** to define scope and requirements
- **Design, document, and execute test cases and scenarios**
- Track client feedback and ensure timely implementation of changes
- Perform **functional, regression, integration, and system testing**
- Report, document, and track bugs/issues thoroughly using tracking tools
- Review and validate reports prepared by **junior testers**
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
- Follow and enhance **QA processes** to support continuous improvement

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:***:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Engineering, or related field**
- 2-5 years of proven experience as a **Manual Tester / QA Engineer**
- Strong understanding of **software testing methodologies and QA processes**
- Ability to write **clear and comprehensive test cases and bug reports**
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., **JIRA, Trello, Bugzilla**)
- Strong **communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills**
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Knowledge of **basic SQL queries** for data validation (a plus)
