**About the Job**

As a Content Editor, you will be overseeing company’s content publishing needs in a fast-paced work environment, content strategy, proofreading and editing, analysing readership data, and developing content strategy and work with a team of writers and designers to develop and curate compelling and engaging content Company’s audience

What you will do:

- Supervising a team of writers and coordinate with freelance contributors.
- Proofreading and editing spelling, grammar and syntax.
- Ensuring that content meets the company or client's needs, and follows company’s in-house style guide.
- Organizing, modifying and updating existing content.
- Verifying content and information.
- Working with the graphic design team to ensure a user-friendly experience.
- Collaborating with co-workers and come up with fresh, creative content ideas, keeping company’s audience in mind.
- Analysing data and analytics, and seek to increase reader engagement and retention.
- Representing the organization at launches, meetings, and press events.

What you need to have:

- Experience in writing, copy editing, and proofreading
- Knowledge of SEO and industry best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Proficient in desktop publishing software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
- Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides.
- A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design.
- Exposure to fintech, banking, education, and study abroad segments would be a plus.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving team and can work with cross-functional teams or autonomously.
