**Job Title**: Admission Counselor

**Reports To**: Director of Admissions or Admissions Manager

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Student Recruitment**:

- Attend college fairs, high school visits, and community outreach events to recruit prospective students.
- Build relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and alumni to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Conduct information sessions and presentations for prospective students and families.
- **Application Evaluation**:

- Assess student qualifications based on academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, essays, and recommendation letters.
- Make recommendations regarding admissions decisions.
- **Counseling and Support**:

- Provide guidance and counseling to prospective students and their families regarding the admissions process, academic programs, scholarships, and financial aid.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of admissions policies, procedures, and eligibility requirements.
- **Communication and Follow-Up**:

- Keep prospective students informed about important deadlines, admissions decisions, and next steps.
- Maintain and update student records in the admissions database.
- **Event Coordination**:

- Plan and assist in the coordination of recruitment events, such as open houses, campus tours, and admitted student days.
- Assist in hosting virtual events for prospective students.
- **Data Tracking and Reporting**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Previous experience in admissions, sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of higher education admissions processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and admissions software.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to travel as required for recruitment events, college fairs, and high school visits.
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed for events.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
