Planning and delivering physical education lessons: Physical education teachers are responsible for creating lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. They design and implement engaging activities, exercises, and games to promote physical fitness, skill development, and overall wellness.

Teaching a variety of physical activities: Physical education teachers cover a range of activities, such as team sports, individual sports, fitness training, dance, and recreational games. They provide instruction on proper techniques, rules, and strategies, ensuring students gain a well-rounded understanding of different physical activities.

Assessing student progress: Teachers evaluate student performance and progress in physical education through various assessment methods, including skill demonstrations, fitness tests, and participation in class activities. They provide feedback and support to help students improve their physical abilities and overall health.

Promoting safety and injury prevention: Physical education teachers prioritize the safety of students during physical activities. They educate students on proper warm-up exercises, stretching techniques, and safety guidelines. They also monitor students' movements and provide guidance to prevent injuries.
