Robotics Trainer

**About the role**:
We’re looking for a passionate STEM trainer cum program facilitator who wants to be part of an early-stage education technology startup with a unique mission and great potential for value creation. **Who you are**:
You are a engineering/ science graduate/ post graduate (and not more than 2 years of experience as a STEM Trainer & course facilitator). Or you are a final year Master’s student. Your stream is one of Electronics, Computers, Mechatronics, Information Technology, AI/ML, or equivalent.

You are a engineer at heart, and like working with young people and helping others grow. You are a knowledge seeker - constantly learning, experimenting, listening to podcasts, reading, watching and following your curiosity. You have a deep interest what technology has to offer to the world, and also think a lot about how emerging technologies and sciences can be used to solve different problems facing society.

**Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate the program and deliver weekly sessions to students
- Train K-12 students on curated on emerging technology programs in Robotics, 3D Printing, Drones, IoT using STEM kits and relevant media in classroom and online mode
- Provide Experiential Learning to students to help them develop technical skills through engineering, design-thinking, coding, and hardware/ software tools, simulations and various other tools using our unique pedagogy
- Conduct real-life projects (hardware and software) with engineering enthusiasts and students from various age groups
- Accelerate student growth by providing guidance, feedback and mentorship on projects and personal development aligned with curriculum
- Learn about different emerging technologies through our curriculum/ own research and facilitate discussions on the future impact, including ethical, philosophical and economic implications.
- Manage logistics around unique opportunities for students (e.g., tech events, hackathons, conferences, guest speakers, company tours, and lab tours/ opportunities).
- Assess students and communicate with parents about their progress
- Assist in developing and improving curriculum and course content

**Requirements**:

- Willing to work in Pune (NIBM/ Salunke Vihar area)
- Experienced in conducting hands-on experiments and teaching in a practical, fun, and playful manner
- Hands-on experience in Robotics, Electronics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and related toolsets
- Experience of interdisciplinary study of engineering branches
- Knowledge of AI/ML, Drones, Programming/ Coding in Python, Open-Source ecosystem will be a plus
- Computer proficiency and tech-savvy, ability to use digital boards
- Good storyteller, soft spoken with ability for voice modulation
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to adapt to startup environment
- Willing to work in the ed tech sector startup, learn fast, deliver on commitments
- Take responsibility, plan daily tasks and work collaboratively with others
- Excellent interpersonal skills - should be able to establish a good rapport with youngsters and parents
- Good command of English (writing and speaking) and Hindi

**Salary**: ₹350,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
