**Job Purpose**:
The OBG Registrar is responsible for delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to female patients, under the supervision of a Consultant. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, including emergency management, labor and delivery, surgical assistance, and active participation in educational and quality improvement activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct detailed history-taking, physical examinations, and clinical assessments in OBG cases.
- Manage antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care under consultant supervision.
- Assist in conducting and interpreting obstetric ultrasounds and fetal monitoring.
- Perform routine obstetric and gynecologic procedures (e.g., normal deliveries, dilation and curettage, IUD insertions).
- Assist in cesarean sections, laparotomies, hysterectomies, and other major gynecologic surgeries.
- Manage gynecological emergencies such as ectopic pregnancy, miscarriages, and pelvic inflammatory disease.
- Participate in labor ward duties, emergency calls, and on-call rotas.
- Monitor and manage high-risk pregnancies, including eclampsia, preterm labor, and gestational diabetes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with hospital policies.
- Ensure proper consent is taken before procedures.
- Comply with all legal and ethical requirements, including confidentiality and patient rights.
- Work closely with consultants, midwives, nurses, anesthetists, pediatricians, and other allied healthcare professionals.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors (interns, residents, SHOs).
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical audits, and multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- MBBS & MD/ MS/DNB - OBG or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid license/registration with national. (KMC)
- Completed internship/foundation training.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Enrollment in or completion of a recognized OBG postgraduate training program is preferred.
- Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) or equivalent.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month

Schedule:
