Roles & responsibilities:
- **Fund Analysis & Research**: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of mutual funds, focusing on performance, risk, asset allocation, and adherence to investment objectives.
- **Market Research**: Monitor market trends, global financial developments, and economic indicators to provide informed insights that guide mutual fund performance and strategies.
- **Paperwork & Documentation**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all mutual fund investments, transactions, and performance. Ensure all paperwork is processed correctly and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- **Coordination with Banks & Financial Institutions**: Work closely with banks, custodians, and other financial institutions to ensure the smooth execution of mutual fund transactions. Facilitate communication regarding account openings, transaction settlements, and fund transfers.
- **Deal Execution & Closure**: Oversee the closing of mutual fund deals, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly. Liaise with external parties to ensure that deals are finalized within the agreed timelines.
- **Compliance & Regulatory Documentation**: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for mutual fund transactions, including documentation of all relevant approvals, certifications, and legal requirements. Assist with internal and external audits.
- **Client Communication**: Prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations for clients, explaining fund performance, investment strategies, and market outlooks. Act as the primary point of contact for any queries related to mutual fund investments.
- **Reporting & Analysis**: Prepare detailed reports on fund performance, asset allocations, and risk assessments for internal stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- **Portfolio Monitoring**: Regularly monitor mutual fund portfolios, track their performance, and provide recommendations for changes or rebalancing based on market conditions and client goals.
