**Profile introduction**:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate South Indian Commis 1 chef to join our culinary team. As a Commis 1 chef, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, contributing to the preparation of authentic and delicious South Indian cuisine. You will work closely with the senior chefs to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared and presented with precision.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes such as dosas, idlis, sambar, rasam, and other regional specialties.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of daily meals and specials.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to maintain consistent food quality.
- Ensure all ingredients and food supplies are fresh and of high quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in stock rotation and inventory management to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed, such as plating, garnishing, and serving.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
