Purpose of the job: Try to explain in one concise sentence the essence of the job: what is the purpose of the job?
To ensure that annual business targets are achieved at the individual level
Main Accountabilities: Give the most important results to be achieved in the job. Limit it to stable, permanent job elements. Start with the most important ones and work the way down. Select a maximum of 5 to 8 result areas.
1. To prepare a list of existing customers in his assigned territory and categorize them as per industry verticals.
2. To prepare a list of focus industries and identify unexplored business opportunities from these industry verticals.
3. To add 20 new companies to his database on monthly basis.
4. To ensure that you maintain the database of 100 unexplored customers at all times.
5. To make calls to at least 6-8 new prospective customers per day to explore new
business opportunities.
6. To ensure that you visit at least 6-8 customers on weekly basis by appointment and
maintain a database of all visited clients.
7. To prepare at least three sales pitches for different levels of customers and get the same validated from the management.
8. To prepare a company presentation and ensure that it is being adapted as per the
industry verticals.
9. To make presentations to 4-6 visited clients on weekly basis to fetch new orders.
10. To categorize all clients, post telecommunication and post-visit into HOT, WARM,
COLD & REJECTED category to keep track of business opportunities.
11. To maintain a hot customer pipeline of a minimum of 45 customers or always having the business potential of one Cr.
13. To discuss and review the list of hot prospects with the Director on weekly basis.
14. To ensure that 4 quotations are being sent to new prospects on weekly basis ensuring that all quotations are being submitted within 24 hrs.
15. To close at least 4 orders from new prospects on monthly basis out of the HOT category.
16. To close at least 4 orders per month from old customers who had taken the services of the company in past or fetch a single order of 40 lac every month. It means to promote repeat orders from loyal and satisfied customers.
17. To close 2 orders by deep selling from existing customers.
18. To fetch repeat orders from 50% of existing/old customers.
19. To plan one physical visit with all old customers on a quarterly basis or on by-yearly
basis.
21. To conduct self-review on monthly basis to monitor self-performance ensuring that
each activity is being performed as per set criteria.
22. To prepare a communication library and ensure that each customer receives at least one written communication from the company on a quarterly basis.
23. To ensure that each prospective customer receives greetings on all important
occasions, like birthday, anniversary, or any other occasion which matters to the
decision-makers in that company.
24. To propose an incentive scheme for the borderline customers to ensure at least one big order is being received from them on yearly basis.
25. To carry out a study on competitor movement in the market and share during the monthly review meetings.
26. To identify new markets within the same territory or in new territory to enhance business opportunities.
27. To keep track of carrier/co-loaders cost and keep it updated at all times.
28. To ensure timely receipt of payment from all clients as per agreed terms.
