Job Summary:
As a Retail Salesperson in at AARI, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales by assisting customers in finding the perfect ethnic wear that suits their preferences and needs. You will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for customers and ensuring that they leave the store satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Customer Assistance**:

- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist customers in selecting ethnic wear based on their preferences, style, and occasion.
- Provide information about the latest trends, fabrics, and designs in women's ethnic wear.
- Answer customer queries and address concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

2. **Product Knowledge**:

- Stay updated on the latest trends in women's ethnic wear and the features of the products available in the store.
- Provide detailed information about the materials, care instructions, and unique features of each garment.

3. **Sales and Upselling**:

- Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and suggest complementary products.
- Upsell by recommending accessories, matching items, or additional pieces that enhance the customer's purchase.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets.

4. **Inventory Management**:

- Assist in maintaining an organized and visually appealing store layout.
- Monitor and restock inventory as needed.
- Collaborate with management to ensure proper stock levels and product availability.

5. **Visual Merchandising**:

- Participate in creating eye-catching displays to attract customers and showcase new arrivals.
- Ensure that the store is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing at all times.

6. **Cash Handling and Transactions**:

- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods following established procedures.

7. **Customer Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Collect customer feedback and convey it to the management team for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous retail sales experience, especially in the apparel or fashion industry, is preferred.
- Knowledge of women's ethnic wear and fashion trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic computer skills for processing transactions and accessing product information.

**Working Conditions**:

- Retail store environment with extended periods of standing and interacting with customers.
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, based on the store's operating hours.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Shift:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
