**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
**Location**: Gola (Ranchi)
Company - Inland Power
**Reporting To**: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
**Job Summary**:
The COO will be responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operational functions, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability. They will work closely with department heads to optimize manufacturing processes, supply chain management, quality control, and overall operational excellence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Operations & Manufacturing Management**
- Oversee and optimize manufacturing operations to ensure high-quality and cost-effective production.
- Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
**2. Supply Chain & Logistics**
- Manage procurement, inventory, and logistics to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Develop strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the supply chain.
- Foster relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts effectively.
**3. Strategic Planning & Execution**
- Work with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute business strategies.
- Drive expansion initiatives, process automation, and technology adoption.
- Analyze market trends to align operations with business goals.
**4. Financial & Budget Management**
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for operations.
- Ensure operational efficiency by optimizing resource allocation.
- Work closely with the CFO to analyze financial reports and drive profitability.
**5. Quality Assurance & Compliance**
- Implement quality control processes to ensure product excellence.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
- Lead sustainability initiatives and ethical manufacturing practices.
**6. Team Leadership & Development**
- Lead and mentor operations, production, and supply chain teams.
- Develop talent retention and workforce training programs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and operational excellence.
- Experience with ERP systems, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive efficiency and innovation.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
