Product Architect, Finance

We are now looking for a **Product Architect, Finance**to join our Finance solutions team in. Working closely with our global finance organization and IT teams, our goal is to ensure KONE’s finance systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs. In this role, you will lead the design of the technology architecture for KONE’s finance domain, translating complex business requirements into sustainable technical solutions. Your work will ensure that our financial processes are supported by modern, efficient, and secure systems, enabling data-driven decisions across the company.

- **Define the finance IT architecture and roadmap**:Outline the long-term technical architecture and plan for KONE’s finance systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise standards.
- **Act as a bridge between finance and IT**:Collaborate with finance stakeholders and IT development teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions that meet those needs.
- **Guide solution design and delivery**:Provide technical leadership to the development team, overseeing solution design and integration. Ensure that implementations follow the defined architecture and industry best practices.
- **Ensure quality, security, and compliance**:Design solutions with high reliability and security, making sure all finance platforms meet performance expectations, cybersecurity standards, and relevant compliance requirements (e.g. financial controls, data privacy).
- **Drive continuous improvement**:Identify opportunities to improve and modernize finance IT systems. Stay updated on emerging technologies and drive the adoption of new tools or methods to enhance efficiency and innovation in the finance domain.

**We hope you have**:

- **Educational background**:A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or Finance/Business with IT focus). A solid foundation in software development and architecture principles is required; understanding of financial processes is an asset.
- **Relevant experience**:Several years (around 8+ years) of experience in IT architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles, ideally in a global company. Experience with finance systems (such as ERP financial modules, financial reporting or analytics platforms) is highly valued.
- **Domain knowledge**:Strong understanding of finance business processes (e.g. accounting, controlling, financial reporting) and how IT systems support them. Prior experience implementing or working with enterprise finance solutions (for example, SAP or similar ERP systems) will help you succeed in this role.
- **Technical skills**:Hands-on experience in designing and integrating complex systems. Proficiency with enterprise technologies such as cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), integration middleware, databases/data warehouses, and cybersecurity best practices. Familiarity with modern architecture patterns (APIs, microservices, event-driven design) is a plus.
- **Agile mindset**:Experience working in Agile development teams or product organization setups. Comfortable with iterative development, backlog management (e.g. using Jira), and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing) to deliver improvements continuously.
- **Analytical and innovative approach**:Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to see the big picture as well as the details. Eager to learn new technologies and introduce innovative solutions when appropriate to meet business challenges.
- **Communication and teamwork**:Strong communication skills in English. Able to explain technical concepts in clear terms to business stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a multicultural, global environment.
- **Leadership and ownership**:A proactive, self-driven attitude with the ability to lead by influence. Comfortable taking ownership of technical decisions and guiding cross-functional teams toward a shared architectural vision. Resilience and adaptability to navigate complex challenges and drive initiatives to completion.
