What You Will Achieve

The Omnichannel Services & Solutions (OSS) Solution Architect is responsible for driving the development and management of all websites, with a focus on Architecture. The Solutions Architect will take ownership of the defining best practices and have regular touchpoints with vendors and other stakeholders.

How You Will Achieve It
- Gather input from stakeholders across different departments to identify priorities, requirements, and opportunities for improvement.
- Define clear goals, milestones, and success metrics to track the progress and impact of tool development initiatives.
- Continuously discover, define, architect, deliver, and enable solutions that support program OKRs.
- Offer deep technical expertise, providing insights and guidance, ensuring solutions are secure, compliant, scalable, maintainable, and efficient.
- Advocate for the adoption of best practices, new technologies, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives in both technical and privacy domains.
- Foster a DevOps model of success by building a culture of shared responsibilities and transparency leading to higher quality and quicker delivery of outcomes.

Qualifications

Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of website architecture, design, and development.
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, etc.
- Experience working with Microservices-based architecture.
- Experience with AEM Franklin is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices, RESTful APIs, integration patterns, microservice patterns and other areas of interest to modern software development.
- Proficiency in versioning control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience working with Content Management systems such as Drupal.
- Serve as the top technical authority on projects, making decisions on technology choices, design approaches, solution architecture, and implementation.
- Lead and oversee the entire lifecycle excellence of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with architectural vision and adherence to best practices.
- Responsible for maintaining good code quality by promoting and ensuring secure code hygiene.- Build a team able to manage change. Take appropriate risks to achieve the desired results, balancing risks to stability and current norms versus the need for constant change, improvement, and simplification.

Nice-to-Have
- Master's degree
- Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience with agile methodology and continuous delivery approaches
- Proven relevant progressive experience as an Informational technology professional, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry
