**Position**: Programmer/coder- **Education**:Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Software/ Information Technology, BSc IT; BCA

- **Key Responsibilities**:

Documentation**:

- Create/ Read /understand documents about current / to be processed. Documents must be self-explanatory and kept up to date.
- ** Subject matter expert**
- Ability to code in an effective and swift manner. Create codes with almost no bugs and implement the same.
- ** Troubleshooting - software, Hardware**
- Raise/ investigate software issues and bugs, or escalate to the appropriate team. Ensure 99.999% uptime of the system.
- ** Configure new requirements.**
- Take firsthand info from businesses and build suitable workflows. Businesses must have an automated workflow that reduces man-hours put in by their team.
- ** Coordinate system upgrades.**
- Coordinate system upgrades with vendor (upgrade staging, help verify, check system, allow upgrade of production if all good, crisis management. Information to all key stakeholders. Plan in dead hours for minimum downtime repercussions.
- ** Ensure optimum system performance.**
- Monitor the system resources, discuss with stakeholders, and understand/plan if the system needs extra resources (CPU power); work with the vendor and internal stakeholders to make this happen. The system must keep up with the growing demand for workflows. Periodic reporting of resource utilization

**Critical Competencies**:

- Behavioural
- Strong documentation ability.
- Effective communication and grasping power to understand Business intent. (Archiving, sending content, time-critical nature of deliveries, video basics, metadata, searching, reporting, etc).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Translate a business logic requirement into a specification and implement the same.
- Initiative-taking and not reactive.
- Technical
- Front-end designer with experience in React js.
- Proven ability to do back-end scripting/coding. Front-end coding/design skills are not required but are a plus.
- Experience with Java/groovy (preferred, or similar coding languages like Python, Ruby, C++, C#, PHP, and Kotlin.
- Understanding media types, content deliverable lists, etc.
- Understanding of media technologies and deliverables.
- Experience working with Ansible, Kibana, Grafana, mariaDB, mongoDB, arangoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis (preferred)
