**Organization Introduction - SAATHIYA, The Hospitality Skilling Academy**

A Hospitality Skilling Academy which aims to produce finest quality professionals for entry level Hospitality Operations who are sought after for employment by leading employers. SAATHIYA alumni will pursue their employment with professionalism and with a purpose of career growth.

The Academy intends to provide vocational training support for underprivilege youth who are school and college drop-outs. The key objective of the SAATHIYA Hospitality Skilling Academy is to provide opportunities to aspiring men and women to gain the expertise in hospitality operations, which would enable them to be employable and earn higher salaries. Key priorities of SAATHIYA are as below:

- Provide Skilling and subsequently employment opportunities for less privileged youth of the society who do not have easy access to such opportunities
- Bring Professionalism in the Entry level segment in F&B, Housekeeping and Front Desk Operations

**Job purpose**

The Trainer, Coach and Mentor will be responsible for training, mentoring and coaching the students in Housekeeping skills, Language skills and Life Skills.

**Mission Statement for the Role**

Produce finest quality professionals for entry level Hospitality Operations who are sought after for employment by leading employers and who pursue and continue their employment with a purpose of career growth.

**Duties and responsibilities**

The responsibilities of Housekeeping Trainer, Coach and Mentor will be as follows:

- Review and continuously enhance Housekeeping Curriculum
- Prepare Plan for delivery of the curriculum and hourly plan for each week of the program
- Train and Guide Students in Housekeeping Skills, Theory and Practical
- Coach Students in Communication Skills in context of Housekeeping Job
- Conduct Periodic and Summative Assessments
- Prepare Students for Employment Essentials
- Follow up with Students and Employers regarding their Performance in the Job
- Manage SAATHIYA Digital Network and guide students for their Career Progression and growth
- Assist in Student mobilization (as required) and Week Zero Activities
- On The Job Training Assignments and Job Placements

**Qualifications and Work Experience**

Education Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management

Work Experience:

- 6-8 yrs industry experience with atleast 4 years in managing Housekeeping Operations in premium professional Hotels.

Prior experience in teaching Housekeeping Operations will be preferred

Language : Should be able to converse fluently in English and Hindi. Knowledge of additional languages will be preferred

**Location of the Academy**

Bangalore

**Salary**: ₹237,603.41 - ₹711,890.11 per year
