Regional Medical Officer / Regional Scientific Manager

Location : Delhi

Qualification **:Graduate degree in Medicine (MBBS) / A postgraduate research degree/PhD which is linked to an appropriate disease pathway / Graduates in biotechnology with minimum 1- 2 years of industry experience / A postgraduate Doctor of Pharmacy with minimum 1- 2 years of industry experience**

**Job Description**:
**Job Purpose**:
**To actively contribute to the organization/business unit (BU)/therapy area (TA) by taking responsibility for the scientific, technical and ethical soundness of all policies, statements and endeavors. To participate in all activities medically related to the allocated Business Unit/ Therapy Area and provide high quality and timely services in the areas of Product Commercialization/Promotional Support, Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, Continuing Medical Education, Clinical Research, Sales Force Training, Medical Information, and business support.**
- **Job Roles and Responsibilities**:

**1. **Key opinion leader (KOL) Management**:

- Identifying and profiling of KOLs and developing KOL engagement plans
- Prepare flexible and customized program that fits the unique needs of each key opinion leader
- Develop communication plans for KOLs and communicating medical/scientific data
- Provide medical and scientific information to respond to KOLs' technical questions about organization’s drugs and products
- Organise meetings with KOLs to discuss relevant scientific literature and address their scientific enquiries
- Make scientific/educational presentations including clinical trial data to senior doctors and researchers
- Connect external stakeholders, collect insights and share with internal stakeholders
- Identify clinical investigators, support in research activities
- Build peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs

**2. **Subject Matter Expertise**:

- Initiate and/or review and/or approve promotional, training, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) material in compliance with relevant regulations/industry codes/working practices
- Participate/facilitate/conduct customized promotional/educational interactions with Health Care Professionals (HCPs). These interactions include, but are not limited to, customer launch meetings, advisory boards, CME programs, scientific symposia, institutional presentations, etc.

**3. **Clinical Research and Medical Information**:

- Collaborate with study management teams both internal and site project teams in providing training on study design, protocol/CRFs and supervise the conduct of the local studies including milestones
- Develop and execute Information Dissemination Plan/Program
- Provide useful, timely, accurate, and balanced medical information to internal (sales staff) and external (HCPs) customers

**4. **Sales Force Training**:

- Provide medical training to new sales staff on basic sciences/ TAs/assigned products. Provide refresher training to sales staff through ongoing training initiatives
- Provide pre-launch and launch training to sales staff for new products

**ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS**:
This position will have continuous interactions with medical affairs colleagues, marketing & sales colleagues, and Safety & Regulatory Affairs colleagues.
