To lead and manage the tool room operations for manufacturing, maintenance, and improvement of mould bases and tooling components, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to technical specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day activities of the tool room, ensuring smooth operation and workflow.
- Plan and allocate jobs for toolmakers, machinists, and fitters as per production schedules.
- Supervise the manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance of mould bases, inserts, and components.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tool room machines such as:

- Milling Machines (Conventional & CNC)
- Surface Grinder
- EDM, Wire Cut Machines
- Lathe Machines
- VMC / CNC Machines
- Drilling Machines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and tool designs accurately.
- Implement quality checks at each stage of machining and assembly.
- Coordinate with the QC team to resolve quality issues.
- Control inventory of raw materials, tools, and consumables for the tool room.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules of all tool room equipment.
- Guide and train the tool room team to improve their technical skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Liaise with the design team for technical feasibility and tooling improvements.
- Drive continuous improvements in tooling processes to increase efficiency and reduce lead times.

**Required Skills & Knowledge**:

- Strong technical knowledge of mould base manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in precision machining processes.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and tolerances.
- Knowledge of tool steels, machining parameters, and heat treatment processes.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Dial Indicators, etc.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
