Key Responsibilities
System Analysis & Design: Work closely with business analysts and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and technical solutions.
Integration & Interfaces: Develop and implement integrations between JD Edwards and other third-party systems using EDI, flat files, XML, and other integration techniques.
Performance Tuning: Perform system performance tuning and troubleshooting of JD Edwards and AS400 environments to ensure optimal performance and mínimal downtime.
Database Management: Work with DB2/400 and other AS400 databases to write efficient SQL queries, optimize database performance, and manage data integrity.
Technical Skills:
Strong programming skills in RPG (ILE), COBOL, CL, and SQL on the AS400 platform.
Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) tools, including Form Design Workbench (FDW), Event Rules, and Table Design.
Proficiency in EDI, flat files, and integration technologies.
Experience with database design, optimization, and management using DB2/400.
