**Key Responsibilities:Accounting**:

- Assist in **day-to-day bookkeeping** and maintenance of accounting records.
- Prepare **journal entries**, **reconciliations**, and **trial balances**.
- Support in **accounts payable/receivable**, **bank reconciliations**, and **ledger maintenance**.
- Help in preparation of **financial statements** in compliance with applicable standards (e.g., Ind AS, IFRS).
- Assist in the filing of **GST, TDS, and other tax returns** (if applicable).
- Work with ERP or accounting software like **Tally, Zoho, or others**.

**Audit**:

- Assist in conducting **internal, statutory, and tax audits**.
- Support in **verification of financial data**, documentation, and compliance checks.
- Perform **vouching, ledger scrutiny, and sampling procedures**.
- Help draft **audit reports** and highlight discrepancies or non-compliance.
- Communicate with clients/stakeholders to gather information for audit purposes

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate or pursuing **professional accounting qualification** (CA/CMA/ACCA/CPA, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of **accounting standards**, **tax laws**, and **audit procedures**.
- Proficient in **MS Excel** and accounting software.
- Strong **analytical and problem-solving skills**.
- Ability to work with **confidential information** with integrity.
- Good written and verbal **communication skills**.

Contract length: 18 months
