Qualifications:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
- **Certifications**: Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), or similar are preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a safety officer or similar role.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of OHS regulations and standards, risk assessment methodologies, and safety management systems.
- **Skills**:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and present safety information effectively.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.
Working Conditions:
- The role may require working in various environments, including offices, factories, construction sites, and outdoor locations.
- Must be willing to travel to different work sites and conduct inspections.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, and inspect various locations and environments for extended periods.

Reporting:
- The Safety Officer reports to the Safety Manager or Director of Safety.
