The Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) for a Barista at My Coffee Co. should focus on delivering excellent beverages, creating memorable customer experiences, and maintaining smooth operations at the kiosk. Here’s a detailed list:
**1. Beverage Preparation**
- Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to the brand’s recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in the taste, presentation, and quality of every order.
- Stay updated on new recipes, techniques, and seasonal offerings.

**2. Customer Service**
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming environment.
- Provide recommendations and upsell beverages or food items based on customer preferences.
- Handle customer complaints or special requests professionally and efficiently.

**3. Cleanliness and Hygiene**
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations as per local laws and brand standards.
- Conduct regular cleaning of coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.

**4. Order Management**
- Take accurate customer orders and ensure timely preparation and delivery.
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Handle any order adjustments with clarity and professionalism.

**5. Inventory Management**
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Report low inventory levels or any discrepancies to the kiosk manager.
- Minimize wastage by following proper portion control guidelines.

**6. Skill Development**
- Continuously improve barista skills, including latte art and advanced brewing techniques.
- Attend training sessions and workshops organized by the company.
- Stay informed about coffee trends and customer preferences.

7. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
- Assist in training new baristas or support staff as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the kiosk manager about operational issues or feedback.

**8. Customer Engagement**
- Encourage customers to participate in loyalty programs or promotions.
- Build rapport with regular customers to enhance brand loyalty.
- Represent My Coffee Co. positively through professionalism and enthusiasm.

**9. Equipment Maintenance**
- Perform daily maintenance and minor troubleshooting of coffee machines and grinders.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or damages to the kiosk manager immediately.
- Ensure all tools and machines are in good working condition.

**10. Compliance**
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) outlined by the company.
- Adhere to company policies regarding uniforms, punctuality, and customer interaction.
