Job Description Summary: PayPal Corporate IT is looking for a Desktop and Audio/Visual Support Technician. This role will be primarily supporting AV and VC technologies at our Bangalore office. As an AV/VC Engineer, you will provide hands-on support and technical guidance resolving AV/VC issues for our conference rooms and event rooms. Great communication skills both verbally and written are key to success in this position; both to technical teams supporting the tools you use and our customers in business end-user terms. This position requires hands-on experience across a wide AV scope. From AV/VC equipment, AV infrastructure (hardware and software), AV/VC support experience (including installation, configuration and troubleshooting of devices) plus general IT/Networking knowledge related to AV infrastructure and end points such as user's desktops and laptops.

**Job Description**:
**Your day-to-day**:

- AV/VC equipment setup/troubleshooting/operation/maintenance including: video cameras and equipment, computer laptops, media players, video projectors, VC endpoints, audio systems and their components, and other miscellaneous AV related equipment or cabling.
- Video conference operation for Polycom, Skype for Business, Surface Hub and Zoom technologies
- Provide white glove AV meeting support.
- Practice good observation skills i.e. monitor conference room states and address issues proactively.
- Promptly report all needed equipment/conference room repairs and ensure preventive maintenance is performed.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC)
- Support Triage steps to determine User, PC, Network, or Application problems
- Comfortable supporting mobile hardware (iPad, iPhone, Android)
- Work effectively and productively with all team members.
- Work professionally with all levels of the organization.
- Practice active customer service, with exceptional customer follow-through.
- Exhibit attention to detail in all activities.
- Promote teamwork at all times.

**What do you need to bring**:

- 4+ years of corporate audio visual experience, with experience in event support is preferred
- Good knowledge of cloud video conference platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams
- Ability to work effectively with team members, peers, and others in and outside the organization to accomplish goals and objectives, and to identify and resolve problems
- Successful track record in working on cross-functional, cross-team projects
- Passion about technology and an ability to identify new opportunities for efficiency and productivity while solving problems
