Bechtel India Offices provides Engineering, Procurement and Construction services and support Bechtel’s project globally, for Energy, Infrastructure, Mining and Metal, and Manufacturing & Technology global business units. Construction function in Bechtel India provides Construction Engineering services, Constructability reviews, construction automation support and various other home office construction services to our projects executed in New Delhi, Vadodara offices and international jobsites.

**Summary of Responsibilities**:
The Construction Coordinator (CC) will be responsible to support home office construction activities, such as constructability reviews, ensuring safety in design, providing construction’s input to engineering and procurement teams that improves Total Installed Cost (TIC) on the projects, inputs to maximizing precast and preassemblies. Will be responsible to support project proposal activities such as preconstruction planning, execution strategies, project estimates for major infrastructure projects like Motorways (Expressways/Highways), Metro rails, Airports, Hydro and other Civil Infrastructure projects. The CC will also be responsible to support construction function activities like staffing & onboarding. After initial one year, the position may be transferred to project site to do field activities.

**Essential Job Duties**:

- Responsible to support project proposal activities - preparation of construction execution plans, support preparation construction schedules, construction’s input to estimation on temporary facilities and it’s MTOs, construction staffing and construction job-hours
- Responsible to independently prepare mass haul plans for earthworks, aggregate and quarry materials, determine construction equipment schedule / fleet schedules including its sizes, prepare piling execution plans, early works plan
- Assist engineering and project estimation teams with MTOs of temporary works, hauls roads, crane pads, working platforms and other build aids typically involved in the construction of large infrastructure projects
- Develop construction resource curves, camp accommodation requirements, develop temp facility and camp layouts
- Develop and project specific construction procedures, method statements from the Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs) and Integrated Work Process Procedures (IWPPs).
- Review Interdisciplinary deliverables from Engineering and Procurement, providing construction input on Constructability, Safe Construction and TIC perspective
