Join us as a Risk Operations Senior Analyst
- Take on a key role in which you’ll execute the risk and control mechanisms for the business to discharge its responsibilities within agreed risk appetites
- You’ll perform all functional tasks, risk operational activities, associated controls, data management and risk reports to a high quality and within agreed timelines
- You can build on your existing knowledge of risk, and advance your career in this exciting, fast paced role

**What you'll do**:
As Risk Operations Senior Analyst, you’ll be meeting customer needs through the design and delivery of simple and effective products, processes, services and relationships. Alongside this, you’ll effectively balance both day-to-day tasks and strategic initiatives.

Your role will also involve:

- Contributing to projects for the function
- Providing support, advice, MI and escalation to leaders and the business on risk management
- Implementing process improvements and efficiencies through regular forums and initiatives with team members
- Testing the business continuity plan for Risk Operations in line with the bank’s policy and local compliance requirements
- Helping to build a culture of responsible risk management, through defining and adhering to appropriate risk appetites, control frameworks, processes and procedures

**The skills you'll need**:
To join us in this role, you’ll hold a degree in Finance, Engineering or Science with experience in a global markets or investment banking environment. You’ll have excellent communication skills to liaise with your stakeholders, coupled with a creative approach to resolving complex problems and identifying alternative solutions where established procedures may not exist.

Additionally, you’ll demonstrate the ability to undertake small data projects, ensuring involvement in regular UAT and signoff processes. You’ll also have a background in credit risk operations in an investment bank.

You’ll also bring:

- A strong understanding of the global markets and banking operations, market dynamics, products and the associated risks
- An understanding and track record of trading and banking books product set including equities, derivatives, treasury, fixed income and funds
- Knowledge of key functions performed by other support areas
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
