**DIETITION JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Description varies greatly depending on the area of specialism. However, generic duties of the job include**:

- To Identify nutrition problems & assessing the nutritional status of patients.
- Developing diet plans and counselling patients on special diet modifications.
- Providing strategies for prevention of nutrition related diseases to patients.
- Operating consulting practises to provide expertise in nutrition, as well as promote health and prevent disease.
- Deliver client nutrition recommendation to physicians, nurses etc.
