Monitor and record inventory, and if necessary, order new supplies.
- Receive raw material and input to system to track ‘Inventory In’. Reject unordered and substandard inventory.
- Assist in the development of new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand along with the Restaurant Manager
- Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs
- Prepare sauces and mise en place for all food plating independently and without delegation
- Ensure continuous availability of high-quality plating ingredients
- Consistently research and propose new food plating ideas
- Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner
- Create schedules for employees in your team and evaluate their performance.
- Shift planning to ensure continuous operations at the kitchen and according to demand
- Monitor attendance data and tardiness
- Resolve customer problems and concerns personally
- Must taste dishes before plating to ensure no fault in dishes leaving the kitchen
- Rectification of dishes which come back
- Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking and food preparation
- Prepare checklists for Daily Roles and Responsibilities for employees including
- Daily Mise en place checklist
- Quantity of mise en place for menu items according to sales data and forecast
- Review and audit recipes to ensure food cost is being adhered to
- Daily equipment cleaning and maintenance
- Recruit and train new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
- Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulations.
- Manage the kitchen team as a true leader and helping employees grow as true professionals.
- Listen and implement all actions communicated by the Head Chef in the kitchen.

Pay: ₹84,000.00 - ₹96,000.00 per month
