**Role description**:

- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide commercial advantage in the global marketplace
- Enable faster and smarter business processes, and develop analytics for meaningful insights
- Work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
- Ready to work in flexible hours and Identify and fix errors in IT systems
- Communicate with clients, users, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns

- Analysing software and hardware issues while providing timely solutions to maintain system performance.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues and maintaining the security of the company’s computer systems.
- Ability to work independently, Build and maintain efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needs
- Logging and processing support calls.
- Repairing and replacing laptop parts.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
- Managing stocks of equipment, components, consumables and other supplies.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

**Skills**:

- Perform User administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services, Hardware Replacement); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly
- Monitor File Server health using existing management tools, and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers when needed
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
- Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed

Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups

- Proven success in an IT role
- Experience with or knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, Laptop Imaging, Data Wiping, Asset or Inventory Management, systems performance-monitoring tools, active directories
