**Your role**
- Can you pro-actively provide insight, advice and challenge to the business’s activities, performance and strategy? Are you able to act as the primary point of contact for its clients on Finance matters?
- We’re looking for an Investment Banking Business Partner to:
- support the team head in providing insight into the Global Banking / Global Markets results, underlying business drivers and future outlook
- support the monthly business financial reporting and forecasting process contributing to Group Finance projects where IB representation and expertise is needed
- prepare and review business strategic plans and Management Information, across all financial metrics; including revenues, costs, capital, Economic Profit and workforce planning; when supporting the business in achieving its objectives
- partner with the Business on optimisation of all financial resources (e.g. Balance Sheet, Leverage Ratio Denominator, RWA), costs and funding

- You’ll be working in the IB CFO team in Pune. We are committed to work as trusted advisors providing financial performance, strategic insight and planning and analysis to the Investment Bank. As a Business Partner, you’ll play an important role in ensuring that our business divisions operate as a coherent and effective whole.

**Your expertise**
- a background in Investment banking with a good understanding of the Global Banking business and/or Global Markets and experience in a similar role or within a product control/planning and analysis role
- proven ability in building strong client relationships, and influencing business decisions through value added insight
- able to manage a wide set of objectives with conflicting priorities that require one to organize the effective use of resources across functions, business, and time zones
- used to working in teams with strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a fast-changing environment with challenging personalities
- a decisive and innovative individual willing to suggest alternative options, able to adopt a flexible and adaptable approach and focused on timely resolution to problems
