Medical Biller

We are a US based specialty medical practice looking for a Medical Biller to join our medical facility’s administrative team to process patient billing information.

The applicants must have certification in coding and billing from an accredited US certifying agency. Great pay and flexibility to work from home. Excellent command on English is required. Knowledge of medical terminology is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Doing pre-filing coding, pre
- billing audit and follow up of denials on billing claims.
- Pre-visit insurance eligibility check, coverage benefits and answering patients questions about their bills are added responsibilities.
- Generate revenue by making payment arrangements, collecting accounts and monitoring and pursuing delinquent accounts
- Collect delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients, monitoring payments and following up with patients when payment lapses occur
- Ensure that all patient information is accurate and complete and request any missing patient information.

Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience for 10 years as a Medical Biller or similar role (must have)
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration, accounting or related field is preferred
- Should have a good knowledge of insurance guidelines as well as schemes like HMO/PPO, other payer requirements, and systems.
- Must be familiar with CPT and the latest coding guidelines.
- Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records
- Should be able to maintain patient confidentiality as per the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996).
- Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Should have a problem-solving aptitude and ready to work on resolving discrepancies.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
