Knowledge

- Platform Automation using AWS Cloud Formation, Ansible, Sceptre, Jenkins
- Hands on experience in environment capacity planning
- Good Knowledge on secondary skills

- DevOps: Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery
- Hands-on experience in any scripting language such as Linux Shell scripting, python, Base SAS, Perl
- Knowledge on SAS DI studio will be added advantage
- Knowledge on ETL & Databases
- Knowledge on ITIL process
- Knowledge on working in agile teams

Roles and Responsibility:

- Ability to Translate business requirements into design and develop new/amend existing components keeping in view of performance, quality and schedule demands
- Provide inputs towards on estimate and schedules for requirements
- Review non-functional requirements in design & suggest recommendation as applicable
- Design automated solutions that can be consumed in a self-service manner by both business and engineering
- Identifying, develop & automat service improvements & administrative tasks
- Work on Proof of Concept for new proposed solution or feature independently and produce technical feasibility documents.
- Understand the impact of problem, minimize risk to service and strive for continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated, self-directed & abilities to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Interact with all the stakeholders to evaluate & influence technology options
- Play a role in resolving technical issues/ challenges/ escalate appropriately.
- Use data from monitoring tools and produce system behavior pattern
- Implement System Back-up & Restore mechanism
- Managing projects work in system and promotion of same to higher environment
- Ensure procedures and technical documentation are updated to reflect changes, using standard guidelines
- Devise technical frameworks/ guidelines/ design standards/ quality checklists
- Build awareness of industry trends and evaluate applicability to project
- Interacting with Vendor (SAS Inc) support when required to fix the environment or user issues.
- Participate in On-Call Support 24x7 actively
