**Job summary**:
As an **Officer - Stores**, reporting to** Manager Stores**, you will be responsible to coordinate and oversee inbound logistics operations, including inventory management, warehouse activities, and team supervision, ensuring timely receipt, quality inspection, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Utilize technical tools like SAP ERP and WMS to optimize processes, track inventory, and generate MIS reports.

**What will you do?**
- Coordinate and manage the receipt of inbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, components, and supplies to the manufacturing facility.
- Oversee the inspection, verification, and storage of goods to maintain quality and prevent damage.
- Conduct inventory checks, reconcile physical counts with system records, and address discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, shipment schedules, and import/export documentation requirements.
- Supervise unloading, sorting, and shelving processes while maintaining warehouse safety and organization.
- Monitor and document inventory levels, stock movements, and inbound operations for accurate reporting.
- Prepare and present regular MIS reports on delivery status, GRNs, and material discrepancies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize inbound operations and reduce costs.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies, including handling hazardous materials.
- Measure and report the efficiency of warehouse activities and manpower utilization.

**What are we looking for?**

**Inbound Logistics & Inventory Management**: Oversee the timely receipt, inspection, and storage of raw materials, components, and supplies; ensure accurate inventory management and reconciliation between physical counts and system records.

**Warehouse Operations & Team Management**:Supervise unloading, sorting, shelving, and organization of goods, ensuring adherence to safety standards and efficient warehouse activities, including managing a team of 30 ground staff.

**Technical Proficiency and Reporting**: Proficient in MS Excel, Warehouse Management Software (WMS), SAP ERP, and EWM for efficient tracking and reporting of inventory levels, GRNs, and material discrepancies. Capable of preparing and presenting regular MIS reports on operational performance.

**Process Optimization and Compliance**: Ability to identify and implement improvements in inbound operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, industry regulations, and customs/compliance requirements.
